Privacy Policy
Last updated: 06/09/26
This privacy policy explains how Seratura Ltd ("Seratura", "I", "me", "my") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit seratura.co.uk or submit an enquiry through my contact form.
Who I am
Seratura Ltd is a UK registered limited company (Company Number: 16649958), registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZB959700.
For any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact me at harry@seratura.co.uk.
What personal data I collect
When you submit an enquiry through my website contact form, I collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your business name
The aims of the partnership you're enquiring about
Your estimated annual packaging spend
I do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health information, religious beliefs, or similar) through this form.
Why I collect it, and my legal basis
I collect and use this information to:
Respond to your enquiry and assess how Seratura's services might help your business
Prepare relevant proposals, quotes, or audit scopes based on the information you've provided
Maintain a record of business enquiries for my own administrative purposes
My legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest — specifically, my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and providing the services you've requested information about. Where our relationship progresses to a paid engagement, some processing will instead be based on the performance of a contract between us.
How long I keep your data
I keep enquiry data for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to you and, if we begin working together, for the duration of our business relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping and legal purposes (typically up to 6 years, in line with standard UK business record-keeping practice). If your enquiry doesn't lead to further engagement, I will delete your data within 12 months unless you ask me to keep it for future reference.
Who I share your data with
I don't sell or rent your personal data. I may share it with the following third parties, solely to operate my business:
Squarespace, who host this website and process contact form submissions on my behalf
Google workspace, used to manage email communication
These providers are only permitted to use your data to provide services to me, not for their own purposes.
International data transfers
Some of the third parties above (including Squarespace) may store or process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses, to ensure your data is protected to a standard equivalent to UK data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
Access the personal data I hold about you
Ask me to correct inaccurate data
Ask me to delete your data
Object to or restrict how I process your data
Ask for your data to be transferred to another organisation
Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled
To exercise any of these rights, contact me at harry@seratura.co.uk.
Cookies
This website may use cookies for basic functionality and analytics, provided through Squarespace's built-in tools.
Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data, including relying on Squarespace's built-in security measures for form submissions and hosting.
Changes to this policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if I start collecting different information or using new third-party tools. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
